Can't connect to a uCoz website

When posting messages here, make sure that the website is inaccessible for everyone and not just for you.

  • Provide the link to the inaccessible website.
  • Specify its server number if you know it.
  • Post the traceroute results (see the instructions here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/30-2310-1 ). If your website is inaccessible and you see Error 500 or 404 there is no need in providing the tracing results.
  • Indicate your IP address
  • If you can open the website in one browser, but can't do it in another, it means that there is a problem with browser settings or firewall.
  • If other users can access your website and you can't, most probably there are problems at your provider's end. See more here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/31-467-2258-16-1206449310

My website is back online again server s49 ...thanks for your work guys..by the way, after this event we hope Ucoz take cautions with this kind of threat in the future !!

Thanks for the reply Paradox, I did get a little upset biggrin , but who wouldn't? Oh well, I just wanted to let you know that as of right now, my website is UP!

Edit: Yes, server s57 is up!

TheIceMan, your site is unavailable due to emergency maintenance actively being performed on s41. Our technicians should have the server working in normal mode again soon from what I can tell. smile

how can a maintenance take more time than reparing a server after a ddos attak? :)))) It is only a server......it could be changed temporary........ sad

Paradox, does the maintenance could take more than 2 days more? :O

s41 went down for emergency maintenance after the DDoS had occurred. It was not down as part of the DDoS from what I am aware. I am not sure on the exact details of the maintenance however we can hope the server will be back up soon.

change a IP addresses of a server is a good temporary solution,
uCoz need to change their system or to update it

Disadvantages of your system is ,
you have More than 73 websites in same IP address 193.109.247.157
if a website will be infected by malware or ddos attack it can affect also the online reputation of the other websites.

since 7 months, the server s57 (193.109.247.157) was attacked by 5 ddos attacks ,
if you don't update your system i am sure the server s57 will be attacked by a new ddos attack in next month
(accept my bad english)
