Please check uCoz Server Status' in the following thread before posting: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/3-14706-1

When posting messages here, make sure that the website is inaccessible for everyone and not just for you.

  • Provide the link to the inaccessible website.
  • Specify its server number if you know it.
  • Post the traceroute results (see the instructions here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/30-2310-1 ). If your website is inaccessible and you see Error 500 or 404 there is no need in providing the tracing results.
  • Indicate your IP address
  • If you can open the website in one browser, but can't do it in another, it means that there is a problem with browser settings or firewall.
  • If other users can access your website and you can't, most probably there are problems at your provider's end. See more here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/31-467-2258-16-1206449310

Heartbrake, all your websites are available on the Web. The problem is relevant for US users only, and it appears that the access is blocked by AT&T. We have already sent an official request and are waiting for their comments.

Heartbrake, I do understand your worries but we do all possible. Everything is working fine from our side. But we haven't received any comments from your ISP yet. You can try to access your website via anonimity services like TOR or Kebrum, till the problem is fixed.

I am hoping to get compensated for this matter, because I am losing the features I have paid for on my website. The company supplies me INTERNET, AT&T does not block websites at all the way this is happening. They have told me this themselves and I believe them because I have half a mind to know about computers and the internet, it is totally against their rules to limit my internet experience and what I view on the net. If none of the websites on the internet are showing, then yes the problem here is AT&T's, but no, in this case it is only websites connected to Ucoz, the problem is you guys. This also happened to me already with theZONE and you guys fixed the issue 1-2 days later.

I haven't been able to connect to my site since last friday.
http://animeonthego.ucoz.org/

Also other people have started reporting that they haven't been able to connect 2 or 3 days ago.

It's kind of weird cause some people have no problem connecting but others do.

randomroots, Vici-, the access to server 52 (where your websites are hosted) is blocked for some U.S. users (AT&T subscribers to be exact). We are trying to settle the problem but it would be good if you could report about the problem to your ISP as well.

Believe me, uCoz is not interested in losing its customers. If we could fix the problem, we would gladly do this asap. But in this case it does not depend on us. If you do not want to hear what I am trying to explain, let's stick to the facts:
1. Server 52 is unavailable in the U.S. only. And only to the AT&T subscribers. All websites that were posted on last two pages are available on the Internet. E.g. here are the hosttracker results, showing that one of your websites is available from different parts of the world: http://host-tracker.com/check_res_ajx/10052715-0/
2. If we have a look at your traceroute results, we will see that the connection is lost at the following point - "7 8 ms 7 ms 8 ms 12.81.8.63" , and if we look up this IP, we will see that is belongs to AT&T - http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/12.81.8.63 The ping does not even reach the uCoz server.

One of possible reasons of s52 inaccessibility is that its IP is on AT&T's block list. That's why you can access your theZone website (it is hosted on s18), as well as all other non-uCoz websites.

You can try to use other anonimizing services or proxies.

I still lost a week and a half of a paid service I didn't get from a website connected to Ucoz, and I will report a compensation for it.

The IP address of server 52 was changed yesterday (29.03.2012) to solve access issues for U.S. users. It was changed from 193.109.247.52 into 193.109.247.162. Those who have websites on this server and have custom domains attached by Method 3, please see the first post of this thread.

Heartbrake, I am afraid we will have to refure the compensation as it was not uCoz's fault that your website was inaccessible.

Nazish, your website loads fine for me. Please run a traceroute next time you have access difficulties and post the result here.
